Guavagarage.com: New Online Music Community Web Site Revolutionizing the Industry

Allentown, PA (PRWEB) January 22, 2008 ? A new, online music (http://www.guavagarage.com) community Web site was announced today by Guava LLC. The new site is dedicated to serving the interests of independent bands; followers of such groups; concert venues that want to book a wider range of artists; and recording studios that are seeking new business.

The Web site, Guavagarage.com (http://www.guavagarage.com), was developed by two northern New Jersey college students -- Daniel Kessler and Daniel Brown -- who are attending Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and the University of Virginia respectively.

?We both share a strong interest in all types of music and we formed this venture in an effort to change the way in which music is distributed, produced, managed and enjoyed by fans worldwide,? explained Kessler.

Guavagarage.com will offer a myriad of features that will be useful and attractive to members of the independent band scene, including market research tools for individual tracks; streaming audio for fans; and the ability to more effectively market their songs, albums and album artwork. In addition, the bands will receive the majority of the profits from each sale. The Web site will also generate increased awareness for all genres of independent bands in the global consumer market.

While the Web site is focused on exposing bands to the largest possible fan-base, it is also designed to globalize the music-scene and convert the relationship between bands, fans, venues, and recording studios from one of exploitation to one that is mutually beneficial for all involved parties. Essentially, it is the vision of all those involved with the Guavagarage.com project to create a tighter-knit music community.

Currently in the testing and development stage, guavagarage.com is scheduled for release and launch in Spring 2008. Additional details about the site and its release will follow in the coming months.
